Why We Started This

We noticed a gap in design education. Most courses teach theory without showing you the actual craft. Designers were struggling to understand animation principles, and micro-interactions felt like magic instead of science. We decided to change that.

MotionLearn Singapore Pte Ltd exists because we believe good design education should be practical, real-world focused, and accessible . We don’t just lecture—we build, we experiment, and we show you exactly how to create animations that feel natural and interactions that delight users.

How to work with developers and product teams. Communication matters. We teach you how to specify animations so they actually get built right.

Portfolio Development

You’ll build a portfolio during the course. Real work samples that show what you can do. That’s how you get noticed.

How We Teach

Our methodology isn’t revolutionary, but it works. We combine theory with practice, feedback with iteration, and real examples with your own projects.

We start with why animations work. Easing curves, timing, spacing. You’ll learn the principles behind every animation you see.

Then you code. We don’t use templates or drag-and-drop tools. You’re writing CSS and JavaScript because that’s how you actually understand it.

We review your work regularly. You’ll get specific feedback—not “good job” but “this timing feels off, try easing it differently.”

Create Your Own Project

By the end, you’re designing and building something entirely your own. That goes in your portfolio and shows employers what you can actually do.

We’ve trained hundreds of designers. Some went into agencies, others freelance, a few started their own studios. They’re designing animations for websites, apps, and interactive experiences across Singapore and beyond.
